Parhar Group has purchased and will be developing 8 acres of land
in Duncan. We have rezoned the land from C2 (Commercial) to C7 (Commercial and
Light Industrial). We will be developing this land in 3 phases, with the gross total sq footages of the buildings totaling 160,000. We
will develop this land for both sale and for lease. The zone also allows
for the construction of 10 residential units on top of some of the commercial and light industrial buildings.
The Parhar Group have agreed as part of the rezoning process to build a
pedestrian walkway as an extra community amenity to enhance public safety
and access for use school children traveling to the nearby elementary school.
Extra lighting will also be installed along the building frontage for this purpose as well.
The project has also been designed with public safety in mind by using up
to date designs that feature safe access and enhanced lighting to assist
workers and others who may be otherwise vulnerable in dark and secluded areas.
Special care has been built into the site drainage systems by having
grease interceptors and bio swales designed into the road network and parking areas.
Special rain garden drainage features will be built in so
that no drainage will discharge off site.
